GREAT Interview with Jim Robbins today. Matt was high on a chocolate chip cookie, Jim was a little down at the beginning because of technical problems on his site and a lack of coffee, and Bob managed to live up to HIS calling of being the person to bring it all together.
But seriously, this was an awesome interview. Can’t believe the depth of insight we could achieve in just 40 minutes. Jim took us through his process of this, and all 3 of us shared our experiences in how we’ve come to discover our calling.
Listen – If you have struggled with calling, validating your life’s purpose, or just trying to figure out what your place is in this world, this 45 minutes with Jim today will clear up a lot of questions and remove a lot of stress from your life. We hope you enjoy it, and as always, welcome your questions and comments!
Editor’s Note: The podcast is 1pm EST, not 2pm as previously stated.
We’ll be interviewing Jim Robbins again today on the radio show/podcast at 1pm EST. As you know, Jim is the author of “Recover Your Good Heart”. Perhaps you’ve read it, or maybe you’ve heard us mentioning it. For those that enjoy the book the old fashioned way, you know, cover – paper – ink – so 20th century! You can get the book on Amazon.
However, for the 21st century readers, Jim has made the book available as an ebook on his website for a limited time. So Click Here To Visit Jim’s Site To Read “Recover Your Good Heart”.
Hope to have you join us live today, or you can listen in iTunes!
We are looking forward to having Jim Robbins on the radio show, May 26. Here’s an article from Jim that will inspire you today.
What if God couldn’t keep quiet about you? Eager to show you off — to expose not your sin; but your splendor and goodness?
Your glory is God’s mission. Listen to what he says:
1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn,
her salvation like a blazing torch.
2 The nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name
that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand,
a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 No longer will they call you Deserted,
or name your land Desolate.
But you will be called Hephzibah, [my delight is in her]
and your land Beulah [married] ;
for the LORD will take delight in you,
and your land will be married.
5 As a young man marries a maiden,
so will your sons marry you;
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice over you.
Let him do this. It’s quite possibly backwards from what you’ve been taught your whole life. Give him permission to show you off.
