Can A Good Christian Be A Good Business Person?

This week we hit the mail bag and share our observations from Easter weekend. Plus, how do you be a ‘good christian’ and a good business person, with all the unethical business dealings in the world?

Yes, a Christian can be a good business person. INHO, if we had more Christians running the banks, auto companies and wall street banks that failed our nation two years ago we wouldn’t be in the financial mess we’re in now.
However, the economic environment we’re in is providing opportunities that even the little guy can profit from today if they have the right knowledge.
Absolutely. The world of business would be better off if more Christians would view their work as a calling and bring the purposes of God into the marketplace.
We need to abolish the idea of “full time ministry”. If you are a Christian, you are in full time ministry wherever you are.
Susan, AMEN! Why is it in church we applaud those who are going to the mission field, but we scorn those who just closed a multi million dollar deal in business? Because we have a warped concept of what service in the kingdom looks like in the 21st century.
Yes,with the right kind of knowledge a christian can be a good business person in that the christian starts a business from a position of advantage because the scriptures says whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.(Ps1.3).
With this kind of revelation, a christian enters the business world or marketlpace with a knowing that God who made this declaration is able to provide guidance and direction to make sure that whatever business one is in prospers.
The thing is that christians who became good busines men and women are those who have learnt and mastered the key of doing things under the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit, into whose care and guidance our Lord Jesus LEFT US.
